.DISCUSSION...Radar image shows isolated showers moving in from
the southwest from about Gold Beach north and north of the Umpqua
Divide. Any showers will likely not result in measurable rainfall
into early this evening. Any showers will end early this evening
with dry weather overnight tonight. Also no lightning has been
observed in the last several hours. Additionally, this pattern is
not one where it typically results in thunderstorms and the data
suggest the ingredients are not present for thunderstorms. Thus,
they have been removed from the forecast for this evening.

Dry weather is likely this evening through Wednesday night as
upper ridging builds into the area. Afternoon temperatures
Wednesday will be milder with low 70s expected for the interior
westside valleys and upper 60s to around 70 east of the Cascades.

There`s good agreement precipitation with the next front will
reach the coast mid to late Thursday morning. The front will push
onshore west of the Cascades Thursday afternoon, with the best
chance for measurable rainfall along the coast, coastal mountains
and north of the Umpqua Divide. Elsewhere it will be dry with
gusty breezes east of the Cascades. -Petrucelli

.AVIATION...09/06Z TAFs...Along the coast and just offshore. MVFR
ceilings are expected through tonight. VFR should return by tomorrow
afternoon,. although conditions could improve an hour or two earlier
than whats in the North Bend TAF.

Elsewhere, VFR conditions will continue through the TAF period.

.MARINE...Updated 800 PM Tuesday, April 8th...Moderate west swell
and residual wind waves from the passing front will keep steep seas
in place through this evening. Conditions calm tonight and will
remain relatively calm under high pressure through Wednesday
evening. The next front arrives Thursday afternoon, with gusty south
winds and steep seas possible through Thursday night. Conditions
improve again Friday through Saturday morning, with a thermal trough
potentially producing gusty north winds and steep seas late Saturday
